Afriquewood Movie Shoot

This movie will be 1 of its kind, no more will be South Africans be copying but now creating.

This movie (name not released) will be the birth of a new fresh genre to hit global circuits. The genre will give South African filmmakers an opportunity not to follow Bollywood, Hollywood or Tollywood but create and show the freshness and true heritage of Africa through “Afriquewood”.

This movie will be shot at different locations throughout South Africa with cast chosen from the Youth Film Development Project H.E.A.R Concept. Directors from Mumbai (Bollywood), New York (Hollywood) & South Africa will get together and screen the required screen characters from school audition tapes.

A movie of this nature will be South Africa’s answer to recent hit sensation “Slum dog Millionaire” and will put South Africa on the map showcasing our true multicultural heritage through the lives of our youth.

The movie will be focused on youth and will depict the landmarks of South Africa branding our country globally.

A budget of 20-30mil will be required for this mega production which will be a renaissance for South African Film production.
